Activating gamification is simple and requires only a few clicks in the administration panel. After activating the module, a new "Gamification" tab will appear in the main menu of the platform for participants.
Step-by-step instructions:
Go to the administration panel of your event.
In the menu on the left, select Settings, and then go to the Functionality tab .
Find the Gamification section and check the box to activate the module.
Once the box is checked, additional configuration options will appear, such as mode selection and start and end dates.
Set the dates you want the gamification to be active for participants.
Finally, click Save at the bottom of the page to approve the changes.
What are the available gamification modes and how do they differ?
The Gridaly system offers two gamification modes, which allow you to customize its operation according to your needs.
Default mode
This is the full version of gamification, which includes:
Tasks and points: Participants perform tasks for which they receive points.
Ranking (Leaderboard): A public ranking where participants can track their progress against others.
Awards: Ability to define and award rewards for achievements.
When to use it. Ideal for events where you want to introduce an element of healthy competition and publicly reward the most committed people. Great for conferences, trade shows and company picnics.
Basic mode (Basic)
This is a simplified version of gamification that focuses solely on tasks and rewards, with no public ranking.
Only tasks and rewards: Participants can still complete tasks and earn rewards, but their scores are not publicly compared.
When to use it. An excellent choice for internal events, training, or when you want to encourage activity without introducing competitive pressure. Allows you to focus on the substantive completion of tasks.
