The Leaderboard is the heart of your event's competition. This is where participants can track their progress against others, which motivates them to participate more actively and complete more tasks. Ranking is available when you enable the Default gamification mode , which includes scoring and a scoreboard in addition to tasks.

From this article you will learn:

  • What is gamification ranking and what is it used for?

  • Where to find the ranking of participants?

  • How to interpret and filter the ranking data?

  • How to export ranking results?

How to manage the ranking? Step-by-step instructions

1 Where to find the ranking?

Accessing the ranking is very simple.

  1. Go to the administration panel of your event.

  2. In the menu on the left, select the Gamification section .

  3. You can find the ranking under the Tasks and Rewards tabs . Look for the button with the cup icon and the label Ranking.

2 How to interpret the data in the ranking?

When you go to the ranking, you will see a table with a list of participants who are taking part in the gamification.

The table contains the following columns:

  • Place: Participant's ranking position.

  • Participant: Participant's name and avatar.

  • E-mail: Participant's email address.

  • Points: Total points earned by the participant.

  • The date of the last points: The exact time when the participant last earned points.

How does the sorting work?
Participants are sorted by default from the highest number of points. In case several participants have the same number of points, the person who scored first will be ranked higher.

3 - How to export the ranking results?

You can easily download the ranking data to a file.

  1. While in the ranking view, find the Download button with a cloud icon.

  2. Click it to generate and download a file (e.g. in .xls or .csv) with the current data of all participants visible in the ranking.

FAQ

Why are not all participants visible in the ranking?

Only those participants are visible in the ranking who:
* Have earned at least one point.
* Are assigned to a role for which gamification is enabled.
* Have not hidden their visibility in the ranking (the participant has this option in his/her profile).

Two participants have the same number of points. Who is higher in the ranking?

Higher in the ranking will be the person who first reached a given number of points. The system takes into account the time of completion of the last task.

Can I reset the ranking during the event?

Tak, możesz zresetować punkty dla wszystkich lub wybranych uczestników. Szczegółowe informacje na ten temat znajdziesz w osobnym artykule.
