Points and rewards are the heart of any gamification. They are the main driving force for participants, motivating them to explore the platform, interact and complete tasks. A well-thought-out scoring system and attractive prizes can significantly increase engagement and make your event memorable for a long time.

How do participants earn points?
Participants receive points for completing specific tasks that you, as the organizer, define in the administration panel. Each task can be assigned a different point value, allowing you to reward those activities you care most about.
Examples of tasks for which points can be awarded:
Completing a profile: adding an avatar, completing a biography or contact information.
Networking activity: arranging a 1-on-1 meeting, visiting an exhibitor's virtual booth, visiting a speaker's profile.
Platform interactions: sending a chat message, asking a question during a Q&A session, participating in a survey.
Special tasks: scanning a QR code, providing a secret password acquired during a lecture.
You can decide whether the task is one-time (e.g., adding a profile picture) or recurring (e.g., sending a chat message), for which the participant can earn points repeatedly.
What are the types of rewards and how can they be earned?
In the Gridaly system, rewards fall into three main categories, giving you flexibility in building your gamification strategy.
Standard Awards
These are awards that are automatically given for completing a specific set of tasks. They work like milestones that a participant achieves by completing related activities.
Example: you can create a "Networking Champion" award that a participant will automatically receive after completing three tasks: "Make 3 appointments," "Visit 5 exhibitor profiles," and "Send 10 private messages."
Special Awards
You award these awards manually to selected participants. They are independent of standard tasks and are ideal for rewarding exceptional achievements that are difficult to measure automatically.
Example: you can give a special award for "Most interesting question during a Q&A session" or "Most helpful participant in chat."
Activity Awards
This is a special type of award that is given for general activity, or simply for collecting points. The participant does not have to perform specific tasks to earn it - the sum of all accumulated points counts.
Where can a participant check their progress?
Each participant has access to his or her private gamification center under the "Gamification" tab on the platform. There he can find:
The number of points earned.
Your ranking position (if
Default
mode is enabled ).A list of all available tasks to complete.
A gallery of rewards earned.
