How to fill in basic ticket information (name, description, role)?
How to set the ticket price in the default price pool?
How to configure basic sales limits?
1 - How to get started.
In the menu on the left, under REGISTRATION, select Tickets.
Click the "+" icon in the upper right corner to add a new ticket.
You will be redirected to the editing form, divided into three main tabs: BASIC
, PRICE
and LIMITS
.
2. the "BASIC" tab - key information
In this section, you define the identity and ground rules of your ticket.
Name and description: Enter a name here (e.g., "Standard Ticket") that will attract attention on the registration page. In the description, you can add information about what the ticket includes, such as "Access to all lectures and Expo area."
Status (On/Off): In the upper right corner you will find the main ticket switch. Make sure it is on, so that the ticket is active at all.
Role: This is one of the most important settings. The role selected here will be automatically assigned to the attendee after purchase and will define his/her privileges at the event (e.g., access to specific agenda sessions or the ability to view the broadcast).
Visibility: Here you decide who can see the ticket. Setting it to "hidden" makes it accessible only through a direct link - ideal for special tickets, such as for speakers or sponsors.
Tip: Before you start creating tickets, configure the appropriate roles under Settings -> Roles. This is the foundation of managing access at your event.
3. the "PRICE" tab - setting the ticket price.
In this tab you manage the ticket price. When you create a new ticket, the system automatically prepares a first default price pool for you , which you just need to configure.
Pool name: This is an internal label to help you organize (e.g., "Regular Price"). It is not visible to buyers.
Start Date: Determines when the ticket will be available at this price. For the first ticket, simply set the start date of the sale.
Price: Enter the ticket price for each currency defined in the event. If the ticket is to be free, enter
0
or leave the field blank.
4. tab "LIMITS" - general sales restrictions
Here you set general limits that apply to all tickets of the same type, regardless of price.
Limit: This is the total number of tickets of this type that can be sold. Use this field if you have a limited number of seats for an event (e.g., 200 seats per room).
Limit per order: Determines how many pieces of this ticket one participant can maximally buy at one time. Useful to prevent one person from buying tickets in bulk.
